Second Kazakhstan office for Air Energi
Palatine Private Equity portfolio company, Air Energi Group has opened a second office in Kazakhstan.
The new office is located in the city of Aktau which was built in the 1960s on the Mangyshlak peninsula and is the center of the Kazakh oil and gas industry and a Caspian seaport. The population of Aktau is around 175,000 and it is one of the most prosperous towns in Kazakhstan.
This latest office opening follows the other recent additions in Iraq and Moscow.
Andrew Ryan, VP for Middle East and Central Asia, Air Energi Group, commented: ”Our new office underpins our plans for future growth in Kazakhstan’ he continued ‘ Since entering the market in Kazakhstan almost two years ago, we have seen steady growth with our local business. Major capex is still planned for the next decade and beyond and this new development is a good indication as to our confidence in the Caspian market and business environment.”
